The link from my home page to the catalogue does not include ACTINIC_REFERRER parameter. Typical entry is www.mysite.co.uk/cgi-bin/ss000002.pl?SECTIONID=index.html&NOLOGIN=1. This works fine if accessing the catalogue from the homepage, but when spiders pick up this link and include it within search engines it causes problems. Does anyone know of a fix?

spiders can not read this link and will go no further into your site
see this rather lengthy thread which discussedthese style of links and how to include spiderable links

Hi Jo
Many thanks for the reply. I guess it's good to see that my problem is not unique? I'll take some time checking out the info.
I must say that apart from this partucular problem I am very impressed with the Actinic software.
Thanks again.
Andrew
