crash on adding new variable

Already reported to beta team, but posting here in case anyone else finding same.

Following the instructions to 'add new variable' in Beta testing guide page 32 leads to a system crash on clicking the 'add' button.
On restarting, the new variable has been created, but the crash indicates a bug.
(repeated exercise more than once - crashed same place both times).

Was using the smart theme.

Just about to report this when I saw your post....

same here, on two occassions also.
