Hi - anyone help me with this?

Actinic 25 was recently given away with PCPlus magazine. We have a client who wants to sell 5 different types of cake online. Each cake comes in 4 sizes. Will Actinic 25 see that as 20 items or 5 items?

We want to develop the site using our Actinic Developer licence - can she then use Actinic 25 to order manage the site we have created, saving her the cost of Order Manager?

Also - are we allowed to copy and distribute Actinic 25 as it was a freebie?

Thanks!!

Anna

If you set up the different sizes etc as components or attributes then Actinic will see this as 5 products.

I can't comment on the licensing issues, you are best talking to Actinic about that.

Many thanks,

If you are an authorised Actinic reseller then you can distribute trial versions of the software.

Not too sure about Actinic 25 as this has being on a lot of cover CD's just lately.

I suppose you could buy a lot of mags and distribute the disk on them

Can Actinic answer this for us all please, are we allowed to distribute copies of the free version or as Gary says, do we have to buy a load of magazines..

whichever way, thanks anyway as I think it is a great move from Actinic...

Actinic Catalog 25 is a product specially configured for distribution with PC Plus magazine and is based on version 6.02 of Actinic Catalog LE.

As such, is should be possible to configure the software in place of “Order Manager” to download orders from a site maintained using Actinic Ecommerce v6.02.

Please note that the terms of the license agreement prohibit the redistribution of this software and so to use it you would need an original PC Plus CD per installation.
