Can't get description text to show...

I am re-designing a site in Actinic Catalogue 6

My second level sections (below 'Online Catalogue') use a graphic and in some cases some additional text. However, I cannot get the text to show????

I currently am using a standard Actinic theme and my settings for the section are...

'Include as Selectable Section on Search page' is ticked
'Hide on website' is NOT ticked

Then, under 'General' tab...
Image: is linked to my image
Description: is 1 line of text

Under 'Layout'
Overall Layout: Use Parent
Section link Layout: Standard - with image on left of text
Page Name: left blank

Location and arrangement of section list: left grayed out (list placement default, first and subsequent coloumn counts are '1')
Shopping mode: Use parent setting is ticked

Metatag and Properties tabs are blank (unaltered)

Product Tab

Default Layout: Actinic original product template
Extended information: Use Parent
Width: 600 Height (greyed out) 350

So - anyone know why I am having this problem?

You could be using a text only section template

Check whether 'Images Only' is ticked in 'Design Options | Sections'
