Email Settings

Hi,
I'm trying to sort my email settings in 'Advanced Network Setup'. Can anyone help? I receive this message.
Actinic Mail Test completed successfully
server: passed
connection: passed
sockets: passed
communications: failed
authorisation: failed
message:

My email address and passwords are correct, maybe the smtp server? What does everyone use?

Everyone uses what works on their host.

For many, that is localhost as the server name, with no username or password, and the user name and password box NOT ticked. If you search on SMTP and the name of your host, you will see if there are previous specific posts - if not, tell us who you host with - in fact, if you have to come back, edit your thread title to read "Email settings - <name of host>" it will catch people's eye and help you get a specific response.
