text size and position

Hi all

I have stumbled across from CIX and this place does not look too scary........

I am building a web site with "business" that has price breaks
but the different price breaks take up way too much room.

I would like to make the text smaller and shrink the padding/spacing BUT cannot find the template which does this.

the theme I am basing the site on is "curves"

Can anyone point me at a solution.
