new site

when i'm trying to activate a new site in actinic, i cannot get it activate. when switching over it asks what backup i want to do on the small shutting down menu and when i try database backup it ssays it is unable to locate the database for the selected site. a friend setup my last site for me can anyone please help?

Hi,

Have you tried HOUSEKEEPING|BACKUP|SHUTDOWN BACKUP OPTIONS ?
Here you will be able to browse for the correct backup folder which should sort it. I assume you have a new licence for the new site, if you haven't then this will prevent you from activating a new site (unless you have Developer) ?

Which version of Actinic do you have? It is not available in Business or Catalog
