View Full Version : How to apply VAT only over Total Purchase

Hi,

currentlly in my site, Tax VAT is applying over the Total Purchase + Shipping Charges means suppose i purchase a calculator of cost $100 and and shipping charge for this is $30, Actinic is applying VAT over $130 ( Cost of calculator + Shipping charges)

But i want it should apply only over the Total purchase ( Cost of calculator )

If your shipping charges do not attract VAT then you can switch VAT off on the view / business settings / shipping and handling page.

i did not found any option in view / business settings / shipping and handling page to off the VAT for Shipping Charges

can u please give some more details?

On the shipping and handling options page, there is a table for tax at the top, you can set the tax rate to none in there to switch it off.
