Updating My Site from Two Locations?

I currently have Actinic v612 installed in two locations

1. At my work premises
2. At home

Ideally I would like to be able to update my site from both locations.

Will there be any problem with syncronizing from these locations (I will only download orders from work).

Has anyone had experience with this??

You could take a snapshot home with you at night make changes and bring it back in in the morning, their is an option to leave orders intact so you could do that when you import it back on the work machine.

Problem Is im not at work very much (sounds good but it isnt) so that may be tricky.

I just wanted to be able to upload products from either location and hope that Actinic is "Clever" enough to realise when I upload from the other location

Why don't you always upload from home then.

If you make sure that the security keys are the same on both machines you will be able to upload from either but you may find that they get confused and you have to do refreshes rather than updates after changing machines.

Out of interest if you do use this site snapshot facility I wonder how big is the file generated?

I assume it depends on the amount of products but what is the basic footprint before you include these?

Is it emailable?
