Hi,
Having just upgraded my s/w to 4.1, one of the sites, Site1, appears to have not upgraded, as it is showing a couple of the errors that I originally had. I did have trouble getting the site back together as I installed from scratch then licensed Site1. I admit i mucked about renaming and copying the old site, so something has got screwed up.
Any thoughts on the correct way to correct this and get the site to upgrade?
Cheers,
kevin

I would first of all back up the 'Site1' folder (or whatever it is called) containing the information that you want. You should also backup all your other site folders if necessary.
Then, I would uninstall 4.1 and then re-install it afresh. Then license a new 'Site1' site within 4.1.
Next, close Actinic and just copy the contents of the backed-up Site1 folder into the new Site1 folder.
Then copy all the *.pm and *.pl file from the 'Original' folder into the 'Site1' folder.
Then start Actinic. The database will be upgraded as required and everything else should work fine.

I think Chris means uninstall catalog, then re-install. not undo the latest patch update

Thanks Jo, that is indeed what I meant.

HI,
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Actinic once and made a bit if a hash of it.
What i need is the exact procedure to follow, so I don't make a mess of it again. It is a little strange because the unistall actually left folders there (although I may have done it with Windows last time).
Anyway, could Chris or Jo please tell me the exact procedure and I will get on with it,
Thanks for your help,
Kevin

Hi,
I've reinstalled V4.1 and the sites are working, in a fashion. Two things i don't quite understand though.
1. Some of the settings in one of the sites seem a little wrong. What exactly are the files backed up in the Upgrade folder and should i restore them in some way?

I'm not entirely sure which Upgrade folders you are talking about.
What is it that your store is actually doing that you are not happy with?
