Hi
We're using Actinic V7, and have just installed Quickbooks and Actinic Link. It's working ok apart from one thing. If we enter an order manually in Actinic and apply a discount % in order to get the correct end price that we have agreed with a customer, when importing into Quickbooks, the discount is not being picked up - Quickboooks shows the list price.
Any ideas how to resolve this?
thanks
Nigel

Hi Nigel
There is a bug at the moment with Actinic, whereby the Discount percentage is not transferred across to the accounting packge. The workaround for the moment would be to use the Add Adjustment option after the order has been created.
Hope this helps.

That sounds quite time consuming, but I will have a go at it. Won't it also affect the final price though?
And is the 'bug' being fixed?

Morning Nigel
Won't it also affect the final price though?
Could you clarify which final price you are referring to?
Using the Add adjustment option instead of applying a discount will allow you a way around the bug to pass on to Quick Books the final price agreed with the customer. In effect the order will be transferred with the reduced price.
The development team is still working on the bug fix, though I am afraid I do not have an exact date at the moment.

Has this been fixed? I want to upgrade but only if the bugs have been fixed! Otherwise it is a lot of money just to get a faulty link to Quickbooks...
Hope the answer is YES!
Cheers!

Hi Peter
Sorry, but this bug is still not fixed; there is no definite date on it either.

Thanks Krithika - it is nice to get a straight and honest answer, even if it is not the one I was hoping for!
