Hi

I'm an Actinic user, as well as a SamStock one.

If there was a Samstock Forum, I would post my question there, but in the absence of one, I'm hoping someone here will offer me some advice.

I use SamStock as my till system and it has some corrupted data files/indexes. As I don't have any recent backups  :( , I would like to try to repair the files/indexes. Does anyone know how I can find someone to help me to do this. Any idea on what it could cost (yeah, I know, how long is a piece of string...).

Does anyone know of a current SamStock Forum?

The company I bought the till and the system from are unable to help me, as they say this is a hard drive problem and they won't give me the contact number to speak to SamStock directly.

I feel quite lost on this one.

There is a forum where Samstock is discussed at http://tillservices.co.uk/discus/

There is also a downloadable doc format manual which runs about 32Mb.

Thanks for the reply. I had found that forum on the internet, but it never gave me the menu on the left, so I had no way of joining it or even of contacting a moderator.

Thanks to you, I have now been able to email them requesting to join, so hopefully they might be able to help me.

Thanks!:)
