I have just downloaded the trial of actinic epos
and had a little play with it.
would be interested in the points I have found so far.


Having setup products and customer accounts
I have found that I cannot retrieve a Z report
is this because I am using the trial version?

I try to print a receipt on an A4 printer (epson r220)
should I be setting the pritner up somewhere?

It looks like when I setup customers and products
I should at a later date be able to go through and
see what the customer has previously purchased
Is there something I should do to set this up
or is the program mis leading.

I fully Intend to add a cash drawer and barcode scanner
but do not want to pay too much for them at the moment
can any scaner and cash drawer be used?

in general it looks like a few features are un-useable is this because it
is the trial version.

software looks great but I need to answer these questions
before I buy it.

Hi there

To make the data available to to Z Read report, you will need to rest the zread, which is something you would do at the end of every day. To do this, from the sales screen, click Menu | Z Read, from here you can print out a z read report for the day, and reset it, making the data available for other reports.

If you go to the Setup button from the main menu, then click the printing tab, select the check boxes 'Priniting on' and 'A4 priniting on', then you shoudl be able to print to your A4 printer.

This information becomes visable after you have reset the Z Read, then you can go to Customers from the main menu, and view their purchases.

Most USB scanners will work fine.

All the features of Epos Solo should be available for you to demo with the 30 day trial, what features are you missing?
