i have been uploading my site ok for ages then out of the blue (after changing Act_Order templates) I get a file merge error while uploading the site!
It says script not found for md000001.pl

can anyone help me as before i tried deleting the cgi-bin and then creating a new one, which worked...but now even doing that doesnt work!

Try this and see if it works as I have called Actinic with this error.

Change the Script ID number then refresh

If it works I think a bug exists somwhere.

Which PSP are you using (if any) and have you created/used a snapshot recently

I'm using WorldPay as a PSP and my screenshot is attached.
I did exactly what you said ..changed the Script ID number to 2 from 1 and it worked!!!!

What about the snapshot as I think this is the cause but need you to confirm you used one

try replacing the act_order templates with originals then upload, if the problem goes away then you need to look at your mods

i will look at refreshing my Act_order templates, but will keep my Script ID number at 2 for a while cos that is working fine.

if it works with script id of 2, then I doubt there is anything wrong with the order templates

Jo I suffered this twice lately after importing snapshots.

It could also be caused (I think) buy using snapshots from Catalog in Developer and viceversa as Catalog has no business details

Ah Hah!! Snapshots......personally I never use them!! Probably can't get used to the fact that they now work (allegedly!!)

from the File menu. It's a way of backing up an entire site and transferring it to another PC or just using it as a back up.
