Hi there,
I am just wondering how to get google to list all my seperate web pages. At the moment it only seems to show just my home page and doesnt have all my other pages indexed. I currently have 6 of them in Yahoo (but have had all of them indexed before) ok but I know Google is more difficult. I dont know why sometimes they are indexed and sometimes not.
Any tips ?

A search will show many posts on the subject as it is a regular question - the last being a couple of days ago.
Doing a search before posting will always help.

Having a quick look at the site you don't have that many pages (in the grand scheme of things) and those that are there are sometimes quite similar from an SEO point of view .... the bats for example although different products are quite similar between brands. Although not relevent to your site this can be a common side effect of using the single product per page (section) layout.
Try adding more manufacturer specific info against each page where appropriate and changing the text as often as possible to give the engines more and different meat to get their teeth into

Thanks Ruralweb for your reply but I didnt think that the posts on Actinic catalogue and Business would still apply to Actinic Express ??
Can you advise how I put a sitemap on my home page as I have already downloaded it off www.xml-sitemaps.com ?
Thanks Jont aswell for your reply. Are you saying I should have all my types of bats i.e. softball, baseball, fastpitch listed under bats and not have sub headings??
Or are you saying I should still have bats and then sub headings as : slowpitch softball bats , baseball bats etc etc. I.e. more details ??

catalogue and Business would still apply to Actinic Express A website is a website and SEO applies to all - Express is not a solution I get involved with really and I missed the forum title when I posted.

Bradley - there are 2 considerations to juggle with ... SEO/Google and the buyer. As of how you categorise the bats is really down to your expert knowledge of the product and your customer requirements.
Speaking as an outsider and thereby looking at it more through the eyes of a search engine each of the pages (sections) with bats look very similar to me. The pictures may be different and some of the text slightly different but they are for all intents and purposes quite alike and therefore not being picked up as unique content via Google.
It may be worth adding in additional text to the top of each section explaining more about "softball" and "baseball" .. keyword rich sentences explaining the differences, what makes it an exciting game, where it is played, famous players, how to get involved etc ... something to make the different sections stand apart from each other. Additional text against each product would also be welcomed - again targetting the section keywords you have placed them under.

While having tea I remembered that Express is database driven as shown by page urls eg http://www.baseballandsoftball.co.uk/index.php?cat=Rawlings&ActinicSID=d4c9a357c9318fa5279366ae8602285b This is different to the way V7/8 works - they have static html pages. Google does have problems indexing database driven websites and I suspect that is where the problem lies. Catalog and Business SEO advice will only apply to a certain extent.
I suggest that you swot up on how database driven websites work and the problems they cause for search engines especially Google. One of the major strengths of V7/8 is that it is NOT database driven - if it was I would not use it:eek:
