Actinic freezing

hi,

I have set up a number of components in a site. When i try to move or cut and now even edit an attribute the s/w freezes. I then have to shut it by CRTL-ALT-DEL. It starts up again OK, but I can;t get my prices done!

Any ideas?

Problems did exist moving large quantities of data in V4. Try compacting the database HOUSEKEEPING toolbar

Tried that it didn't work. It seems to be one particular component. I'm going to delete it and redo it.

Not very robust is it?

Well, to be fair, you are on what is now quite an old version of the software - and one containing some catalogue tree management issues which have since been ironed out in v5 and now v6.

Deleting and re-entering the component is what I would have recommended.
