Hi - I am looking for a little pointer on hosting package. I am using Actinic Developer (Actinic 5) and am planning on hosting on a 1&1 server. I have 2 options on their packages. Option 1 is Linux based PHP SQL option and Option 2 is a ASP .NET option.
Which do I need to get the Actinic to work??? I am leaning towards the PHP SQL section but to be honest this is my forst ever ecommerce project and I am not 100% sure. Can any one kindly advise me?

Many thanks

Jason.

As you are the originator, you can delete the whole thread if you are quick enough. Anyway, your answer is Actinic does not use an online database, nor does it use .NET.

The minimum 1&1 package for running Actinic is Linux Business. It will work on Windows Business, but it is a lot more difficult to set up.
