More postage options

The ability to set-up multiple postage tables, selectable by product group.

User could then set up one table by weight, and a second table by value, and choose which table applies to which product group, helping to solve the problem of light high value goods using the same postage rules as heavy low value goods.

I would like the ability to mix charges by weight or value

We try to keep our postage as low as we can for low value items so we have a blanket charge to ship goods up to £50. Some of our lower value items are very heavy so at the moment we build the extra carraige charge into the item making us appear to be less competetive. I would like to be able to overide the shipping by value and ship by weight on these products.

Separate postage tables would be a good feature.

Most of our products are sold by weight, but for some high value items they are sold per metre.

eg. Setup of £3.00 1st class p&p upto 500g, and someone orders X mtrs of silver = £xxxx but weighs less than 500g, then £3.00 P&P would be selectable by the customer. We risk sending £xxxx of goods at £3.00 1st class, which should be sent by Special Delivery.
