View Full Version : 'Quantity of packs not correct' message when trying to create a PO

Hi,
When I try to add a product to a Purchase Order, I get the above message. (see screen shot attached. The Pack quantities set on the system are correct, so i've got no idea what the problem is.
I've checked the user guide but can't see anything.
Anyone else having this problem?

Please can you let me know if you are still having this problem. If that is the case does this happen only for a specified product or on all products. If its just one product have to tried deleting and adding the product again to see if that made any difference.

Still a problem i'm afraid - and it happens on every product (at least every product i've tried).

The reason why you are getting this error message could probably be because you are not entering a 'Packs required' amount in the feild at the top of the window, if left blank then that can cause the error you are getting.

From the top screen to which you refer, I do 'look up' to find the product, select it, and it gets entered into the bottom half of the window and automatically puts in the pack quantity. I then click add, expecting the product to be added to the order, but its at that point I get the error message. So, I don't actually get an opportunity to enter anything in the top half of this window.
What would be really helpful would be if the tick box in the ordering screen that says 'show all items supplied by this supplier', actually did show all items supplied by the supplier. At the moment - I put a tick in the box, and nothing happens.

Hi Nick
If you enter the amount for 'Packs required', when you click add then you will not get the error and the order will be added when you view the 'View order details' tab with orders.
