Hi,

Yes, this can be done, however before I provide the solution, could you please make sure you are very careful and do not do anything other then whats stated below, otherwise you may ruin your entire system (PC).

The only other way this can be done is by going to (in windows) Start|Run then type 'regedit'. Open up HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Actinic\Catalog'5'\Sites\'Site1' then on the right hand side where it shows 'RegversionII' double click on that and then enter the new licence key and exit.

i have done this

all seems ok as far as it goes

i was hoping that the catalog would open up as business, Hayley Ranson gave me a business key you see

is there some other parameter i have to change

i have not restarted the machine again

Hi there,

As we hacked the registry the user interface would not appear, however to distinguish that you have Actinic Business on your machine and not Catalog, open up Actnic go to View | Customer Accounts. This will indicate that you have business and not catalog.

You could also goto Help|About to see what you type of Actinic you have on your machine.

menu catalog upgrade...

this still shows the old key

menu housekeeping->upgrade...

this worked a treat

i now have all the business menus & help about... is actinic business
