Re. Yopo.co.uk selling CDs

With Catalogue V6 is it possible for to setup a pricing structure where if a customer buys 2 CDs he can nominate a third for free.

He would have to be able to buy any 2 CDs - and then pick one for free.

I can see how you could offer a free CD say with any 1 product but not on the basis of how many bought as total.

if you have business you can use quantity break pricing and components linked to products to do this. Have you got business?

There is no really reliable way to do this at present. We should be adding this feature for the next major release of the software - but that is going to be quite some time away.

I agree with Jan, you could do something like this with components if you play around with it.

I've reread the first post Ditch and they are using Catalog which doesn't give you quantity price breaks, so it won't work.
