Help lost my site when computer stolen

I have a published and existing website.

my laptop with actinic installed and running was stolen and i lost all of the information on the laptop, they also took my backups.

is there anyway i can retrieve the information for the site from the website? Or am i going to have to do it all again?

You can copy and paste the text and download the images from the server but that is about it. You will need to start a new site from scratch.

I take it the backups were on the same computer? None on CD?

not much help to you now, but in the future consider uploading a snapshot to a safe place on your webserver

the back ups where on an external hardrive that was also taken, and a usb pen drive also taken.... :(

ah well i'll just have to go for a new look then.
