epson tm t8811

Hi

I have an Epson tm t8811 printer and cant get the OPOS software to recognise it. I can find it on the OPOS list and also in the Printer list (works from there when you test it ). In the OPOS software when you perform the health check it comes back with an error, the firmware is 3.14. Is it to old or do i need an update and if so were can I obtain this?

Hi there

For the Epson T88ii, the firmware version needs to be 3.42 or higher, you can get the printers firmware upgraded by contacting a company called Box Technologies on 01869 365400, and they can upgrade it for you for around ?45 including shipping.
