Ssl / Login Problems

I have a shared SSL from the host, however the login page now flickers without opening.

Also the 'do you want secure and non-secure items' box appears for every page, not very appealing.

Any solutions?

What is the URL for this store?

If the alert box is popping up when moving between insecure and secure areas, I would check the network settings. What result do you get from testing the settings (Advanced | Network Setup)?
