View Full Version : Problems Importing a snapshot

Originally I took a snapshot of the site I created and sent to someone to configure the payments system etc. and to change a few things. i have now got it back and can't import it this is the message I get
'FATAL ERRORS
The site was created by a different version of Actinic Ecommerce (6.1.2.0.0.0.DDVA) than this version (6.1.1.0.0.0.DDOA).
Actinic Ecommerce can only import a site created by an identical version.'
does anyone have any urgent suggestions of what I can do?

Ask whoever is sending you the snapshot to upgrade the site to the same version as you have.

Actually it looks as if it's Gemma's PC that needs upgrading. You might need to ask Actinic to send you the upgrade as it is not the current one available for download.

Why would I need to upgrade surely I should try and get the guy to upgrade to the version I have.
If I upgrade than I will have an even newer one than he does?

Apologies I understand now its the other way round. Having to learn all this when you are not very technically minded is exhausting!
