Forum RSS Feed [Archive] - Actinic Community

Is it possible to get the threads from these forums via a RSS feed rather than by email? I have tried to set this up but without sucsess. Am I missing something or is it not possible? If it is not possible then is there any chance of switching the RSS feed on so that I and others can receive a feed rather than email?

Try playing with the following URL

http://community.actinic.com/external.php?type=rss
http://community.actinic.com/external.php?type=rss1
http://community.actinic.com/external.php?type=rss2

That will give you the community as an RSS feed in RSS 0.9, 1.0 and 2.0 respectively.

Please don't ask me anything else about it - I'm really not very clued up on RSS. Other people might be able to help though.

The built-in RSS function in vBulletin powered forums (such as this) only pull out new threads; they will not pull out posts to threads.

I looked at the possibility of creating an RSS2 feed from a vB database but could not get what I wanted - all recent posts. I'll look at it again when I have a few hours spare (ha! fat chance).
