Shipping - charging specific delivery costs for certain items

Hi - I'm sure that this must have been raised before and I'm trawling through previous posting and cannot find it.

I am delivering only to the UK.

I am charging delivery based on value:

upto £200 - £20
upto £400 - £30
over £400 - £40

There is a requirement to charge a delivery of £10 for certain items regardless of value.

Can this be done?

Unfortunately, this will not be possible to do when you are charging shipping by value.

If you switched to charging shipping by weight, you could set up the shipping classes to charge £1.00 per kg and then enter a weight value into the 'Weight in kg' field for each product in order to provide the correct shipping charge for each product.
