Product ID numbers

Having a bit of an in-house discussion regarding the progress of FH and Actinic and its been brought to my attention that we could perhaps make our Product ID numbers a bit more useful, possibly using suppliers code and product number if applicable. We've always used the autogenerate facility up till now.

Not sure if a part number (or whatever) can be assigned within the Catalog but not displayed on the live site?

Would still like to autogenerate sometimes though, for one off items etc.

Any tips etc? :)

Yes - like anything else in Actinic v7, you just comment out the NQV for Product Reference in your Act_ProductLine.html

Sometimes Autogenerate - probably not - but you can maintain an Excel file for One-off Prod references.
