Greetings All

Not strictly Express related, but I thought you chaps might have some pointers as you have been v. helpful about other stuff.

I believe that someone (robot or whatever) is sending out mail, presumably junk, from my pop3 account. The reason why I suspect this is that I get about 10 messages today stating a delivery failure notice - to an address I never sent mail to in the first place. I use outlook express.

Any thoughts appreciated.

cheers

Jules

Hi Jules,

That happened to me about a month ago. It went on for about two weeks and then stopped. I was getting about 20 failed delivery messages per day from all over the world.

Ditto - I was getting quite a lot for a while, now only the occasional one or two a day.

I don't think it's actually using your account - it's just bodged to show that as a return address.

I was always told, If you did not send the email reported to have failed, delete it without opening it.
