How do I configure to ensure that when I receive the order payment notification from paypal, the item/product name is the actual name that i have assigned to the product an not numbers like ''Item/Product Name: MJ50PP50000002 ''
and also if i get the item number like ''MJ50PP50000002'' in the payment notification, can I and how can I trace the number back to the product because this number was never manually assigned to any product.

MJ50PP50000002 is an order number. If you look in your received orders in Actinic you will see the details there.

Sorry to jump on your thred, but when i get a pay pal payment there is never and ship to address ?
At 1st thought it was a scam so returned the payment, but then the customer brought the items though my Ebay shop and paid via pay pal (same account) but this time with a address and it was confimed.
The ship to address isn't passed to paypal, apparently because paypal do not allow it to be included in the order details unless they are caculating shipping costs themselves - we had a customer raise a paypal dispute last week because of this. It's annoying but apparently nothing can be done about it unless paypal change their rules.

I've always found this annoying - I'd like to have the Paypal confirmed address passed back from Paypal to check against the given details.
It is Actinic not passing the details to Paypal.

I don't think this is the same thing. I would like Paypal to include the registered/verified Paypal address in the confirmation email from Paypal. This only seesms to be done when receiving payments via Paypal on eBay. I can then do a double check to see if the order address in Actinic is the same as the verified address with Paypal.
Your right Duncan, it isnt quite the same.
However, you will get a confirmed address, and eligible for protection doing it this way-providing it matches, not 100%, had a couple unconfirmed, but fine when payment requested via email.
It also appears on the payment email from Paypal.
I would like to see this as well as it is all a little hit & miss,
