OK

I monitor my search terms and sometimes i adjust product names and descriptions to assist people in find things on my sites, however i have noticed the amazing number of silly searches made.

I thought i would share them here and wondered what other peoples experiences are

zij fram
3 0
knoop
quick searchcord
1 5
brake levers (i dont sell bikes?)
carrot fibre

Cheers
Darren

Must admit, I've been searching high and low for a zij fram - no luck yet

Might have to make my own ;)

Slightly off topic - but connected.

In the days of our bricks and motar shop we were very specialist selling only Collectable Cards, RPG's, board games and high end collectables and tended to attract the gothy gamers and anoraky types, one day we had a lady come into the shop and asked if we sold "sausages".

So flabagasted i just said "no sorry"

cheers

Our Bricks n Mortar was a convenience store (original tesco store in the area 1950's) prior to us taking over.

On the day we opened, bearing in mind the shop had been empty for 12+ months, the local 'fruit' came in demanding his cornflakes.

He stood in the shop shouting "where are my cornflakes" for nearly an hour until the local bobby arrived to escort him away.

It was an easy mistake to make as it was a Dance & Ballet Wear Shop

Great board games and cards games you won't find in the High Street

Surely there is only one idiot searching for those terms in the world? It could be a limited market :p .

But if the price for each of these items is £1,299,999, and he has money to burn, then it might be worth exploiting the niche? ;)
