Navigation buttons reverted to default

Having previously changed the catalog navigation buttons and the brochure logo I came back to work on my site to find they have reverted back to the layout default.

I'm sure there's a simple explanation but is there an easy way to change it back without having to change each individual button?

Its ok I've changed them back.

Still can't understand why it would have happened in first place.
