Digital Download in Drop Down Menu

Hi,

I am starting to put a demo site together for a record company.

What they are after is to have a CD version and Download version within a drop down menu. This is to allow the user to choose, without having two versions of the product on the same page.

Can this be done?

You mean as a component? I cant see why not

You need to create hidden products within Actinic for the different permutations of each product. i.e. a hidden product for 'CD' and a hidden product for 'Digital'. You then select the appropriate digital download file for the second hidden product.

You can then create components, attributes and choices within a visible product, and then use the 'Permutations' tab of the component in order to associate these hidden products with the choices.
