It's Friday, forum is usually a little happier and more relaxed, i just remembered that i was supposed to be doing the goat points, so i'm starting a new competition. As from today and from each Friday for the foreseeable future, we will be having a "word or phrase of the week" competition. This will be a vague, rarely used and long word or phrase.
Your task is to somehow use the word or phrase in your post, when replying to somebody requesting assistance, however it must be in context. Each use of the word in the correct context will earn you a goat point.
This weeks word is "JUXTAPOSITION".
Good luck and no begging for points.:D

Nice one Lee :)
I assume variations are allowed on the nominated word eg: juxtaposed

Excellent, a good word to start with as well. It will be interesting to see the juxtaposition of certain members by the end of the first week.

Did you hear about the dyslexic Satanist? He sold his soul to Santa.
Seriously, we had a customer who's payment kept being declined, four times I think, and that was with very slightly different card details each time. I had a hunch something was very kosher with this order although it was a small one. Anyways, I decided to give the customer a call and it turns out that she suffered from dyslexia. I took her correct card details over the phone and got the order in the post the next day. The email that I got from her the following day really warmed my heart as she explained that she could type letters okay but had a problem with numerical digits, and almost all of the time she couldn't actually `place the long card number in properly` and virtually all websites deleted her orders. She couldn't thank us enough, and has since become a regular customer. True story, and I then realised how difficult it must be to live with such a condition that we all take for granted. Just something to watch out for folks.

Good effort Mark, but a clear breaking of the rules.

In reply to Jonty for help on this occassion I noticed the combination of the coincidence between the old usage of JUXTAPOSITION and the more modern day usage of Concurrance, may this bring a union of all parties looking after the goats position as number 1

I guess we have a winner for juxtapostion (http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/audio.pl?juxtap02.wav=juxtaposition) then:

Doesn't read in context to me. Although I must admit I missed it's relevance the first time I saw it.

Post 10 gets my vote, regardless of the fact it breaks the rules.
The suggested winner in Post 13 is purely nepotism :p
