how often are new versions released??

Hi,
Just a curious question.. but how often does actinic change versions?
Just roughly.. I'm thinking of purchasing actinic and have been for a while, but haven't had the immediate need for it and was just wondering if it was worth waiting for the next version to be released..
Just to clarify, I'm talking about designer.

probably every 18 -24 months.

V8 was released in july06, although v9 is talked about i doubt it is imminant.

i've worked with Actinic since v3, that was 1998.

I is worth buying cover whe nyou purchase Actinc as then you get new Versions free.

Patches are always free.
