Stopping cart confirm/bounce after 'add'

hi

any clever people know how to stop the user having to go through the confirm stuff after adding to cart, i want them to simply 'add to cart' and have the screen refresh itself with 'items in cart: display to increase by 1 product.

nice and clean but out of my coding league

If you set the quantity option within the product pages, then it will bypass confirmation and just show the page and then move on, or you might be able to set qty always 1 for the products if that is acceptable to your sales criteria...

There is a fix in the Advanced Users Guide to do this.

You can also set the 'Bounce Page Delay' in 'Design | Options | Shop Defaults' to '1' in order to cut down the length of the bounce page delay.

cdicken - ive gone the route you suggested, and was hoping bounce delay '0' may get rid of that cart display bounce all together - but it seems to do the opposite and freezes it - so '1' is the best im gonna get.
