I have a client that wants to be able to allow customers to specify sending ordered goods to multiple shipping addressess - i.e. say someone orders a hamper and a jumper in one shopping session, but the hamper is meant for Auntie Betty in Rhyl and the jumper for Great Aunt Nellie in Skegness.
Can this be done by Actinic - or by any ecommerce software? If not, is there a fudge or suggestion that doesn't put people off if they want to order many items meant for different addressess?
Thanks for your replies

The system will only allow one billing address and one delivery address, afraid that it wont allow multiple addresses for the same order, sorry....

I have a free patch that extends the Other Info prompt so that it could contain all the info needed for the shipping address.
Thus you could have the shipping address as part of each product details.
It won't, however allow you to do destination based shipping cost calculations. These would have to be as usual. See www.rouxel.cw.net/actinicstuff.html for more.

It is not usual practice to send goods to any address bar the cardholders. This helps you prevent fraud and will get you a signature to defend any chargeback
Ask you client to bear this in mind

unless you can prove it's the cardholders who actually signed for a delivery there is no information you could provide to defend any chargeback.
