Credit Card Details Captured Later for Processing

Hello,

In my actinic express store i have added the option of "credit card details captured later for processing".

I have placed a test order with my own card details. However i have not received an email from actinic to inform me i have received an order on my site nor is there is no way of retrieving the credit card details to process the payment.

Can somebody explain what the problem is.

Are you sure there is no order? Can you check against payment status for 'Pending' or 'Waiting for CC details'. You should have received an email though.

Hello Bruce,
Just browsing through the community chats, came across this thread.
I do not receive emails from Actinic when customers place order and neither does the 'number of orders' move from '0'. I am usually alerted to an incoming order by receiving the notification of payment from Paypal.
Do I need to change some settings?

You need to Turn on Auto Return and specify your Shop URL in the Return URL field.

This will redirect your customers back to the website automatically which should prevent any more of the cart order status problems.

PayPal state that the return page must contain certain information.
How can this page be specified without it showing on the web site?

Because the scripts in Actinic will take care of the rest and provide the required information.
