What happens when you do a Network Test - 'Test' button in 'Advanced | Network Setup'?

Hi Martin
What does your error logs say? You should find them under 'logs' or similar if you ftp your site. Please note that Actinic has its own error log in the acatalog folder called error.err. Sometimes when there is a store error you'll find the error reported only in this file without any reference to it in the other logs. Reading logs isn't my favorite duty but they can be most helpful in finding and fixing a problem!

Hi Yvonne,
I've taken a look at the error log and found this -
[error] [client ** IP ADDRESS IS HERE **] Premature end of script headers: /pub/home/apn143/action-pact/cgi-bin/actiniccore.js
[Fri Jan 17 09:10:30 2003]
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Martin

Hi Martin
Are you running your whole store from the cgi bin? If not then certainly we have a problem here! actiniccore.js is the main JavaScript file for the store program. This file should automatically be uploaded to your acatalog directory. The reference to this script should be in the header section of Act_Primary.html btw and nowhere else. However, you have actiniccore.js placed in the cgi bin. Notice that the error is "premature end of script header" which means the script couldn't run, not that the script wasn't found.
If you give me your site url I can take a look to see if there's anything obviously wrong in the page code.

Hi Yvonne,
Thanks for all your help with this.. The site url is http:www.action-pact.co.uk
The store is: https://action-pact.co.uk/acatalog/
The store isn't all contained in the cgi-bin.
Thanks for your help once again.

Martin

Hi Martin
Have you worked on your site today? Because I tried to put a product in my basket using Netscape v7 and it worked just fine. The problem might appear only for certain products. Which product caused the error, do you remember?
