Can anyone recommend an application to monitor POP3 email accounts ... preferably with a pop-up notification when a new email arrives on the web server.

Many thanks,

John

I recently swapped over to outlook rather than express and i've been very impressed. It's ability to pick up junk mail is the best i have seen so far. I've had one junk mail in a month as opposed to at least 100 in express.

John - Mailwasher (Firetrust) is brilliant for this - we have it set on every PC to check all email addresses (even those which can only be downloaded in Outlook on certain PCs) every minute. The main purpose of Mailwasher is spam control which it is also good at!

Mark

PS it doesn't have popup but has a sound notification and the tray icon flashes when new POPs arrive on the web server

So does mine but only for accounts it is told to check ... I have several that I don't need to download as they are only used on a rare ad-hoc basis for personal use and they are OK sat on the mail server.

Cheers Mark ... alas I am not trusted with a sound card - probably with justification :D
