Duplicate Products

Does anyone know how to duplicate a product that's in one section to also appear another? I have many products that apply to more than one section and I really dread the thought of copying and pasting all the details for all of these products one by one.

I called tech support but they didn't think it could be done with a press of a button.

Could this be another one for the wishlist?:rolleyes:

You'll just have to insert each item individually into different sections!
I do agree with you that it really would be useful to be able to copy and paste as well as copy and move the item to another section.
Wishlist it is!!

Yes, it would be great if the same product could appear in more than one section.

If you do decide to copy and paste the products into more than one section make sure you keep a good note of how many times that product appears. We had products appearing in two different sections and forgot to update the price on one of them when it changed. We have got round that now by putting a hyperlink in the description of one that sends the customer to the page where they can buy that product. It is easier to show what I mean than explain so here it is:

This might not work for you if you need to do this lots of times as you would have hyperlinks going all over the place. But it is just a thought.
