Catalog URL appears to be invalid

Full Message reads:
"Your Catalog URL appears to be invalid. The files uploaded to the given 'Path from cgi-bin to acatalog directory', can not be downloaded via the browser on the given Catalog URL. These two access routes don't point to the same destination on the server."

The directory structure on the secure server is as follows:

First of all remove your username and passwords for security.
Secondly, get it all working first without SSL switched on.
Thirdly, once it passes all tests, then include the SSL.

First of all thanks for pointing out the security faux pas!

I am doing this on behalf of my business partner, Gary, who has been trying to get it going without success and is away at the moment. He has successfully set this up before but clearly having problems this time.
So please make allowances for any daft bits as I only have about 10hours experience with this (although I am from an IT background)!

We have a website hosted by Domainweb, but when opening the ftp directory Netserve Consultants is displayed so that answers your question.
How do I get it working without ssl? Our actinic site is purely a secure site.

I have also tried the "Configure Website Details Wizard", getting as far as entering the URL of the Website, which has been entered as https://secure.rocksolidevents.co.uk/. An error occurs: "The Wizard received an errorwhile verifying the Webserver. Error Sending request "

would it be possible for you to email those settings(user and password included) to kcsupport/at/actinic/dot/co/dot/uk/. You can export a copy of the settings through Web | Network Setup | Export.

Additionally when you say " purely a secure site" do you mean the whole site is going to be under SSL or just the "Checkout and Login pages"?
