Protx : PREAUTH ( pre-Auth ) replaced by AUTHENTICATE and Authorise

PROTX are withdrawing the PREAUTH ( Pre-Auth ) service in August 2007

This can be replaced with

To make the transition from PREAUTH to DEFERRED or AUTHENTICATE and Authorise payment requires some configuration changes to your Actinic Account.

Could somebody please explain what changes are required and how they should be done?

I have every confidence that Protx will supply new instructions once they have finalised them.

Until Protx do finalise their internal process, there is nothing you can or need to do.
