Using Dreamweaver layers

Hi,

Is it possible to use the layers mode in dreamweaver to edit
templates i.e. Act_primary.html instead of tables mode? Is this
recommended as it is a more familiar mode in which I work?

dont see why you couldnt, although someone may post differently..

my preference is for tables which gives a more reliable result across browsers..

if you want advice about using dreamweaver and actinic, just type dreamweaver into the search above..theres quite a few posts on the subject..

We have used layers in the past but really only to maintain appearance whilst allowing scrolling within the page.

Looks terrible in some browsers
