You doing the night shift Kathy?
kathynewman
19-Jun-2007, 06:40 AM
No - was woken up by a blasted mosquito buzzing around biting the heck out of me at 4.30am and had to get up to escape it so thought I'd see if it was true that there were really people around on the forum at that unearthly hour - seems I was the only one this morning - most disappointing!!

I'm usually around Kathy til about 5am, but after 3ish, it's like a ghost town so i am rarely signed in as i've read everything and up to date. Duncan and Norman are decent bets at that time also, although there appearances seem to be erratic, maybe there is a mosquito epidemic coming our way?

19-Jun-2007, 10:44 AM
Oi Lee
Where you been lately, Tacey and Myself have had to cover the late shift as you've not been around - could you make sure you fill in form H3325 and get i countersigned and please also include completed forms H4256 & H4257 unless you are absent for medical reasons then you need to complete forms S298, S299 & S300.
Let this be a lesson, we shall make this an informal warning this time

I don't need much sleep dude and never have, 4-5 hours and i'm fine. Half the time i go to bed once every 2 days.
This is worse at the mo too as i'm trying to ensure i have my pre-booked builds finished before wife goes into labour etc. plus finishing the nursery off and other baby stuff.
Darren:
I'm always around, i just don't sign in so much as it's dead during the early morning, i will check in more. Last thing i need now is a paycut or my card marked, sorry boss.

Sorry Lee
Thought the misses had already gone into labour- hence the little ones comment.
In that case you must be drinking to much caffiene to stay up that long
Viagra x 2.
George this is what got his wife in the postion she is now.
Any Lee thats OK dont do it again, make sure you sign/clock in then we know you here. You see i'm gone by 12 most nights, in work by 7 so get a lie in in your book so i have to rely on tracy keeping tabs

I'm not up much past 12 myself...well...maybe I am sometimes around til 1. LOL
I don't get back on again til I've dropped the kids at school and come into the office at about 9.30 though...I've usually missed a whole lot of forum activity by that point!
So we've been leaving the forums un-manned during the night

I probably delete almost as many posts as I leave (don't we, G??)
:D
Trouble is, if I don't post where I'm not 100% sure I can help...and I don't post where I'm trying to be "good"...then I'd probably never post at all
LOL

I really hope not - I often wake up very early but waking up with mosquito's making a racket is not my idea of fun!

Ahah! Just found this thread. Whispers "the wind was up and I was out sailing".
I'm one of the night birds but will appear to be signing off a lot earlier than usual as I'm now in Turkey for the summer and it's 2 hours later than the UK.

We live in a parallel weather universe too - unfortunately the weather is exactly the same as the normal universe - just our luck!

This conversation reminds me of my favourite fridge magnet which has a picture of a chimp sat with it's hands on it's head and reads:
"I feel like I'm diagonally parked in a parallel universe"
which just about sums me up 90% of the time (or 100% if I'm working on a V8 site!)
