NETQUOTEVAR for DC Description?

Hi I am trying to get the "product description" of my products to show in DC description meta, I tried changing changing it in Primary, in Template Manager, to <META NAME="DC.Description" content="NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTDESCRIPTION"> but this has not worked? Does any one know what NETQUOTEVAR i need to use to pick up the product description?

I presume you are referring to: http://dublincore.org/

Are the Dublin Core Metas used by the SEs?
Is there any reference anywhere to say that it will benefit SEO?

To answer your question, as you have probably realised, I don't think you can reference that variable at that level. I think it is ony valid to use it at the product level. What you could do is create a new NQV yourself and copy the product short description into that at section level and give that a go.
