Error: Setup Blob

Having just upgraded from Business V5.14 to V5.16 and then done a full site refresh, I keep on getting the following error when trying to log in.

A General Script Error Occurred

Error: Setup blob version is 25, but only version 24 is supported.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Press the Browser back button and try again or contact the site owner.

To fix this, I went to the 'Original' folder within my installation directory and copied all files with the extension *.pl and *.pm to my 'Site1' - overwriting all existing files.

Also, I copied the 'ShippingTemplate.pl' file from 'Original\ShipControl' into 'Site1\ShipControl'. Then I refreshed the site.

My problem is still there, as the above has not worked. Can anyone help?

Hi Jose

Please try the following;

Go to your website using an ftp software and go inside the /cgi-bin/ folder, and delete all *.pl and *.pm

Once you have done this, then delete all .pl and .pm files within your site1 folder and then copy over the .pl and .pm froms the /original/ folder.

This should resolve your issue
