Does anybody know if I can safely use the spare sTaxOpaque fields in the database without screwing any tax settings?

I just need a place to store a few extra variables.

I don't think you can - I don't think they are accessible in that way. But then again, I'm not 100% sure having never tried it.

You could give it a try I suppose - just make sure that you back up your database beforehand.

Had a go, it seems to work. I guess they are pretty redundant, especially the higher numbered ones.
