Hi,

I've just tested my site www.davora.co.uk (http://www.davora.co.uk) on a new VISTA laptop with IE7. My site has the summary cart code from gbradley (see thread http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=19097&highlight=getfullcart)

When an item is added to the cart, it does not show up in the cart summary, but it has been added when you click the View Cart button.

I thought this was a cookie problem, but I've reduced the cookie settings in IE7 down to a minimum, but the problem still happens.

I'm using IE7 on XP and this problem does not manifest there, so I assume VISTA has something to do with it.

Any ideas anyone?

Have "borrowed" the laptop off Mrs Jont with Vista and IE7 and the cart summary is showing with added contents and after swapping pages, viewing cart and back again etc... sounds like it could be a local issue (not seen the problem raised before and I am sure Graham would have tested cross-platform).

Have you purged the browser of all clutter and tried again?

Thanks for trying guys. At least I know it is a local problem now.

Time for some more investigation me thinks... starting with the usual suspect of Norton.

I'll post the solution when I find it.

Thanks

Well, the only way I could fix this problem was a complete re-install of VISTA. It was a brand new laptop so no data on yet, therefore not a massive problem to reinstall. But still not the best first experience of VISTA!

All has been well since though.

Cheers.

I've been told of this problem by someone else who has the mini-cart patch installed. A few of their customers with IE7 & Vista have experienced problems, but it seems to work fine for the majority. With it being this specific a problem I'm fairly confident there is little I can do with the code, seeing at it works for other IE7 / Vista users and all other platforms & browsers
