Hi, I am trying to change my left navigation to such a way that :
It look something like
http://www.stringsexpress.co.uk/acatalog/
How am I suppose to make the product page as the homepage,
and the brochure page items all inside the left navigation?

2: How am i suppose to give away free gift to customer when purchase? Where customer can choose 1 from 2 free gifts given. It is by adding a component with $0 price? Will the component being print out at the invoice?

Thank in advance.

to do the first part of your question you need to use catalog section pages instead of brochure pages, and dummy products with no add to cart button instead of fragments...this is a method i am now recommending to people because of a few reasons..

1. all netquotevars work then, sometimes on brochure templates certain netquotevars dont work

2. all pages then become indexed by the actinic search

3. normans delightful menu ( www.rouxel.cwc.net/actinicstuff.html ) then picks up all your pages and it is more natural navigation wise

4. on your 'brochure pages' you can have child sections, unlike the proper 'brochure' pages which are single level....

as for prob 2, i will let someone else post..but i think you can 'untick' the 'component as seperate order line' box? anyone?

Hi harlequin, I tried Norman Menu list. It look wonderful. How am i suppose to make the menu to be my left navigation?

Also when I create a section for example : my location.
How can I hide it at the acatalog and only show it on the left navigation.

As for me. Once i create a main section on the online catalog. It be being shown on the acatalog page.

My website is www.hst.com.sg

Thank again.
